ARC Release v1.3.0ΒΆ

The latest ARC release contains a comprehensive library of harmonised questions designed for use in Case Report Forms (CRFs) supporting outbreak responses and clinical surveillance across multiple infectious diseases and populations.

The ARC data model supports outbreak responses for

  • COVID-19

  • Dengue

  • Chikungunya

  • Mpox

  • H5Nx

  • Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI)

  • Viral Haemorrhagic Fever (VHF)

and includes enhanced coverage for pregnant and paediatric populations through both disease-specific and population-agnostic modules.

CRFs are organised into seven core forms:

  • presentation

  • daily

  • medication

  • pathogen testing

  • outcome

  • follow-up

  • withdrawal

Each form contains multiple sections covering, as applicable:

  • Inclusion and exclusion criteria

  • Hospital admission and patient demographics

  • Travel and exposure history

  • Pregnancy- and infant-related information

  • Comorbidities and risk factors

  • Past medical history

  • Medication and vaccination history

  • Vital signs

  • Signs and symptoms

  • Clinical assessment

  • Treatments and interventions

  • Laboratory and imaging results

  • Pathogen testing

  • Complications and outcomes

Together, these questions enable comprehensive data capture from initial presentation, through daily assessment during admission, to discharge and follow-up.
